K Holden Consultancy was founded by Kirsty Holden to provide specialist EAL and English support to schools across the West and East Midlands. Kirsty works closely with nurseries, primary and secondary schools, as well as organisations supporting EAL families and children, offering practical, personalised guidance that helps settings feel confident in meeting the needs of every learner.
How we support schools and settings
Education support
I serve schools and Early Years Settings as well as Childminders. I also provide support in person or via Teams to local authorities or acdemy trusts. I provide training and support for other educational providers including independent, private and state funded organisations. K Holden consultancy provides specialist support for English language, English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners and for Ethnic Minority (EM) pupils. We also provide training, support, guidance and resources for schools and Early Years in English language and EAL .
Our key areas of support include:
- Working with pupils who have English as an additional language, including those who newly arrived from overseas and more advanced EAL learners
- Raising the attainment of ethnic minority pupils who are at risk of underachieving
- Tackling racism and promoting equality of opportunity for all pupils
- The promotion of all pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
I offer training, support and guidance for schools and Early Years settings in relation to English, EAL/ ethnic minority pupils, equalities, Inclusion and diversity. I also provide specialist EAL assessment and audits. Many settings also have bespoke requests or require additional support that is not listed. KHolden consultancy invites free direct contact to talk through any concerns and requests. Therefore, we provide bespoke one-off sessions at £500 per day or £360 which is a morning or an afternoon session to support any unique requests.
